- <p> On the outside, Judy Blume is 52, but the best-selling
- author says she's "12 on the inside." While writing
- Fudge-a-mania, her new book in a hot series about an
- irrepressible five-year-old human hurricane named Fudge, Blume
- "fantasized about someday being a grandma who catches a fly ball
- while playing third base." The worst thing for a writer, she
- says, "is when you don't have a book or two in mind. You're
- always worried that you'll never have another idea." Happily for
- kids, that has never happened to her.
